METAMAN is the personal project of Thomas Gounaropoulos, co-founder of Won Ton records.

His debut album “IRINA” was released and sold out in 2020, while in 2022 his second album “FUTILITY” was released.

In his effort to explore the spectrum of electronic music, he has collaborated with quite diverse artists, some contemporary (Pan Pan, Fonopticon, Vasillina, A.Epitheti etc.) but also names that are considered classic in the Greek music scene, such as Lena Platonos and Georges Pilali.

With his third album on the press via Inner Ear Records, METAMAN combines trip hop elements with the rave scene for an all-out electronic review.

His music employs recitations in original Greek verse as well as orchestral pieces, with the aim of representing the man next door and his daily quests in the urban cityscape.
When performing live he employs his entire collection of synthesizers and drum machines for a live electronics experience.
