Jimmy Polioudis strikes again with his Greek lyric project, MAZOHA, sharing his new album PRTTHLTS.

PRTTHLTS, i.e. PROTATHLITIS (Champion), is the third album in the discography of MAZOHA, but it’s his first concept album of 8 songs against sexism, politics and current trends.

8 songs handpicked amongst numerous demos for their lyrics that fight against the contemporary socio-political reality. An album of punk aesthetics with dominating guitars as opposed to his previous album Bastardo that was built around synth pads and bass lines. All the songs are uptempo, against negativity, sending the message that no matter how much today’s society has been defeated at all levels (racism, fascism, misogyny), there are those who still resist, posing questions and looking for answers or at least trying. An album for the “other side”, for everything that society has labeled as different, for the real “champions” of life, which are not promoted or imposed through television and social media.
