Mary’s flower Superhead were formed in the summer of 2003 in Thessaloniki, Greece. They consist of Elias Smilios, Thanos Kazantzis and Nick Dimakidis.

They began to compose and express themselves through music as teenagers, making their presence felt through their dynamic live performances from the very first moment.
Their initial sound, influenced by the American indie, punk scene has been captured in their self-titled debut (Polytropon Records) in 2006.

Four years later their next release “SWAY” (Archangel Records, 2010) is clearly influenced by the disco-post punk revival of the era. They managed to stand out with their very special videos, their dynamic presence at the Europavox festival (Clermont Ferrand, France) in 2010, as well as with their extensive tours in the Balkans and Greece.

Their following album, “Digesting the Animal” (Polytropon Records, 2012), maintains the post punk sound, but with the obvious presence of synths and samples.

The close friendship of band members and their need to express themselves with a new album resulted Mary’s flower Superhead come back after six years with “Wealth” (Inner Ear Records, 2018). A dynamic, raw and honest album influenced from the music they listened to as teenagers but filtered out though their current maturity. A record full of energy, which they look forward to performing live on stage.
