Aristomenis Theodoropoulos is a visual artist and musician, active in the Athens scene since 2010. He has been a member of Phoenix Catscratch, founder of Father Breath, and a core collaborator of Strawberry Pills – all alongside Valisia, with whom he currently operates as the electronic duo Valisia Odell.
ΦΕΥ (FEF) is his personal music project, born out of his art practice. The initial vision was to create an autonomous universe, a living organism taking shape through image and sound. In 2018, the project was introduced for the first time through his debut solo exhibition and the album release “EDO” (HERE), consisting of seven paintings and seven tracks, with each functioning as an extension of the other.
The idea for the second album was initially to continue along the same lines. However, during the pandemic, painting and sound took different paths, and FEF evolved into an exclusively musical project. Nevertheless, shared themes and references between his art and music remained evident in the works of his third solo exhibition, “ECHO”, in 2021 – pieces created in parallel with the material of the second album.
FEF’s second, self-titled album was completed in 2021 and was kept in a drawer for nearly five years, until its release via Inner Ear in 2026.
