Athens-based shoegaze band Messier 13 present their debut album “Stay for a While”.

An introspective album that blends atmospheric rock, grungegaze and slowcore influences, exploring themes of everyday life’s fragility, routine, unrequited love and mourning. Recorded and mixed at Dark Sun Studios by Giorgos Papageorgiou and co-produced by the band and Papageorgiou, “Stay for a While”  features mastering by Giannis Christodoulatos and artwork by Petros Voulgaris.

Messier 13 formed in 2020 and released their self-titled demo the same year, initially drawing influence from bands like My Bloody Valentine, Ride and Slowdive. After many line up changes, a respectable amount of experimentation and the release of Harm EP (2023), the band’s sound has evolved into something uniquely their own.

“Stay For A While” is out on LP and Digital album on January 24 via Inner Ear.
