VICIOUS LITTLE WORLD

Two years after their debut, Notowns return with a new, more mature and melodic album.

Its title, “Vicious Little World”, serves as a mirror of our times, with its sounds and lyrics interpreting the tension of everyday life through a lens of inner turmoil, sarcasm, and underground dance rhythms.

Strongly influenced by post-punk, the avant-funk of A Certain Ratio, dub, and the sound of Manchester in the early ’80s, and featuring more open melodic lines compared to their first album, “Vicious Little World” creates a unified atmosphere: captivating rhythms, piercing guitars, and vocal lines that stand somewhere between hope and disillusionment.
