THE STONE WE HAD IN OUR MOUTH
- LP SOLD OUT €20,00
This is the first instrumental solo project of greek experimental bluesman Manolis Aggelakis. Six textural tracks made of layers of haunting melody and treated guitars create a music environment that explores themes of an existential void, social struggles and human loneliness.
These organic compositions sometimes serve as a meditative escape from all this dystopia and take the listener on a rare journey offering generously new moving emotions.
“The Stone We Had In Our Mouth” creates a rare experimental effect that showcases Aggelakis’ virtuosity not only as a composer but as a musician as well. The album and track titles are extracts from some of the artist’s favourite poems of the great Greek poet Tasos Livaditis. The album artwork is based on the paintings of John “Sugahtank” Roumpanis.
