MIA PIRKAGIA S’ ENA SPIRTOKOUTO

Only one year after his last album “Ston Diplano Ourano”, Pavlos Pavlidis, always together with his band B-Movies, releases his sixth album entitled “Mia Pirkagia S’ Ena Spirtokouto” (A Fire In A Matchbox).

From the shores of paradise to the hiding place of a tree house Pavlos Pavlidis, navigator once again, covers many miles full of music, love, thoughts and pictures from fairy words but also from the harsh reality. During his passage he meets lonely people, towers and mermaids, counts losses and gives battles with the moon. Sometimes it takes more words – and Pavlidis’ words always hit the heart – and other times music and a tra-la-la are just enough to express the bizarre world and the infinite beauty.

The 12 songs were recorded in Thessaloniki in 2015 and were mixed and mastered in Athens in 2016. The album artwork is based on the paintings of Stefanos Rokos “Watching the Cycles” and “Machines”.

Out on special edition cd και digital album in the beginning of April via Inner Ear. Vinyl format release will follow on May 9th.
