BOKAVOY is the brainchild and alter ego of drummer Sotiris Tsolis, active between Paris, France, and Athens, Greece, since 2023.
Named after a wrestling move, BOKAVOY should be thought of as a collective rather than a conventional band, featuring a lineup of alternating members, each contributing to its dynamic sound world. Rooted in the language of soundtrack music, the project weaves together elements of Krautrock, psychedelia, jazz, minimalism, and ambient music, creating immersive sonic landscapes that blur the line between genres.
Their self-titled debut is out in December 2025 via Inner Ear.
