Victory Collapse are an Athens-based band with an urban sound, sometimes described as a collage of repetitive, jagged rhythms and textures with new wave and psychedelic influences. They have released two LPs, “Convenience Has Poisoned Our Souls” (2012) and “Atlas” (2015), as well as two EPs, “Rumors” (2007) and “Younger Than Before” (2017). They have performed numerous live shows, many of them alongside bands that influenced their sound, such as Liars, The Fall, Gang of Four, Savage Republic, Momus, Wire and others.
After a long, unproductive period marked by lineup changes, quarantine, and a redefinition of the band’s core elements, they arrived –for the first time– at a fully self-recorded and self-produced work: their third album, titled “Non Player Characters”. According to the band, the record represents a summary and culmination of their overall sound, and is set to be released in spring 2026 via Inner Ear.
